Their expertise shines at every visit. Sound customer service in every phone call. I appreciate their very detailed service recommendations for next visits. I set a follow-up reminder to add them when booking my upcoming October state inspection. This week 70k-mile tire rotation and brake inspection both at no charge, a very pleasant surprise, likely for the note of the previous 60k-mile premium Continental all-tire installation discount, or maybe some warranty on them. Good tires, way quieter than what I had before. Oil changes about $20-30 cheaper than Valvoline even with synthetic & coupons. Valvoline spilled oil one time, losing my trust, and Murphy’s fixed it, at a price, but still. Jiffy Lube neglected to replace my sister-in-law’s oil filter. The young people right out of school at those don’t have the full experience and can’t be trusted. Those spills & neglects would never happen at Murphy’s. I’ve been blessed with this excellent car mechanic over the years and right down the road.

I had my front and rear brakes and rotors replaced today and the process was very easy! Joe Jr. was super responsive. I dropped off my car around 8:30 and by 1:45 it was ready to be picked up. They also gave me a quote over the phone and what I paid day of was right on par with that. The price they quoted me was significantly cheaper than what my dealership quoted me too. Would absolutely recommend!

Extremely trustworthy. First visit I brought my wife’s car due to a nail in the tire. They removed the nail, tested for leaks and concluded that it didn’t require patching. They charged me less than $20 for the work. The next two times were for also great experiences. Very friendly and professional, also great prices for the work they did on my car. Excellent family run business!

Do not believe the 4 star rating as I unfortunately did and had high hopes. I truly love supporting local businesses but this was unfortunately a very bad experience. I initially went for a car inspection and was told it was rejected ( which I expected as my engine light was on). They told me to bring it back the next day at 9AM and that they could take a look at my car. I dropped my car off exactly at 9AM, they told me to leave my car and it could possibly take all day. I understand car repairs take a while so I expected that. I just picked up my car as they are closing at 6pm and they told they didn’t get a chance to look at my car AT ALL. I would’ve been understanding if they said the repairs weren’t completed but to not have had my car even examined is insane. I told them I wish they had communicated that instead of letting my car sit there all day with no progress, as I planned my day around this. The men who work there are not only unprofessional, but you can tell they have little respect or care for their customers. When I sat in the waiting room, I heard the conversations and their tone and demeanor is very rude and standoffish. People work and plan car repairs around their

I got my SUV to Murphy’s at 4:30pm and had one car ahead of me in the State Inspection sticker line. They took care of me and I was done by 5pm. I am very happy going to Murphy’s and they are great mechanics and a wonderful car repair and maintenance shop!
